On your Graduation Day!

graduation

Graduations are hard. You've spent 4+ years of your life filled with sleepless nights, over-caffeinated mornings and struggle plates of food and finally, the time has come. But who knew the hardest decision in your life wouldn't be choosing your major, but what to wear! Graduations are really hard to dress for. Especially when you searched high and low for the perfect ensemble just to see a fellow graduate wearing sweats and Jordans under their cap and gown. For some, graduation is another day, another ceremony. But for others, graduation day is the most important day of their life other than their birthday. There's so much to think about then to top it all off, some of you have two ceremonies! Luckily for you, you have me! I've put together 3 safe outfits that will be great for any graduation ceremony!

This Love purple jumpsuit keeps it sexy but still respectful. You have to keep in mind that you'll be meeting someone's grandmother's daughter's second cousin's sister!

You don't want all the goods on the loose. The same goes for this  Jessica Wright collar dress. It's body-conscious, so you can flaunt your curves, but it's midi, so you can head right to dinner after the ceremony instead of looking like you're headed to the club. If you're the daredevil, and don't want to show up in a dress, you can strut across the stage in this H M oversized shirt along with these printed Zara cigarette pants. Very comfortable, but still very polished and put together. Just watch out for any makeup stains after all that hugging!

If there's anything more important than the outfit, its the shoes! When you put the gown on, they're all people can see, and when you're walking across that stage, you're praying they don't let you down! With the jumpsuit, I paired "Jillyy" by Steve Madden. These shoes are great for comfort and still give you that amazing height. For the dress, I wanted to stay feminine with these open toe "Stecy" sandal by Steve Madden. The heel is relatively short so you can practically run to your ribbon-tied blank imitation diploma! For a black and white outfit, there's nothing more classic than a black pointed toe pump!

Proto by Steve Madden is the perfect blend of comfort and chic. (When you purchase Proto, be sure to size up a half size!)

Of course, what's more important than what you're wearing, or even the ceremony, is what you do after. Keep working hard, don't ever stop chasing after your Dreams. I'm rooting for you!!

Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2016!

Love, Evelyn
