HNOW at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City

This week, I was at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! It might not seem big to some, but I sat a few rows away from some big names and I'm still in shock! This 20 something year old from East Flatbush was in the building!  I sat in at the Michael Costello Fashion Show for Fall 2015. You might recognize Michael Costello's work from Beyonce at last year's Grammy Awards. There was a lot of hustle and bustle, chit chatting, "oohs and ahhs" before the show began. I sat third row and didn't know anyone. In my mind I was repeating "Just be cool." I understand why the spirit of New York can be so intimidating. In this world, you're somebody or you're not. But in New York City even if you're somebody, you're still a nobody to somebody.

Moving on, the lights went low and Nicki Minaj's "The Crying Game" kicked off the show.

These are the shots I captured from my seats. I loved the entire show and every piece was very "ready to wear". A lot of times when I see images from the runway show I sit and think "I would never wear that....That's unrealistic....Is that a nipple?" But in this case I definitely saw a few pieces that I hope Zara and H&M replicate (cus I cant afford any Costello lol!)

Hopefully I'll be in the building next New York Fashion Week (and at more shows!)
Thanks for reading guys!
